The PC817 Optocoupler is a DIP-4 packaged isolation component designed for signal transfer between electrically isolated circuits. It features an internal LED on the input side and a phototransistor on the output side, enabling safe and reliable signal coupling using optical isolation.
With a high collector-emitter voltage of 80V and isolation voltage of 5kV between input and output, the PC817 ensures secure operation in power supplies, microcontroller interfacing, and industrial control systems. It offers a wide current transfer ratio (CTR) range from 50% to 600%, making it suitable for various switching and signal isolation applications.
