The 5V Electromagnetic Active Buzzer (1205) is a compact, self-resonating alarm buzzer designed for audible alerts in electronic circuits. With a 12mm diameter, 9.5mm height, and 7.6mm pin pitch, this buzzer is ideal for microcontroller-based projects, alarms, indicators, toys, automation systems, and embedded electronics.

This active buzzer contains its own internal oscillation circuit, requiring only a DC supply to operate—no external signal or PWM is needed. Simply apply 5V and the buzzer produces a loud and clear tone of approximately 85 dB at 10 cm, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor indicator applications.

The electromagnetic design uses a built-in coil, so a protective diode is recommended when driving it from a microcontroller through a transistor stage.
