Product Description:
The 14mm Piezo Passive Buzzer is a compact, high-efficiency audio transducer designed for generating tones, beeps, and alerts in a wide range of electronic devices. Unlike electromagnetic buzzers that include an internal oscillator, this piezo buzzer requires an external square-wave signal (optimal around 4kHz) to produce sound. Simply power it with a microcontroller’s PWM or a signal generator to create tones like those used in microwaves, washing machines, and appliance notifications.
This buzzer is extremely power-efficient, drawing only 2–3mA, making it ideal for battery-powered devices. Designed with a protective black resonance chamber, it provides clear sound output while being moisture-resistant and EMI-safe. Piezo technology offers long operational life, high temperature endurance, and stable performance compared to coil-based buzzers.
