The TRF250-120 is a telecom-grade PPTC resettable fuse (polyfuse) designed by Raychem (now Littelfuse PolySwitch series) for overcurrent and transient protection in communication and general electronic circuits. This radial-leaded device offers reliable resettable protection, automatically returning to normal operation after the fault current is removed.
With a hold current of 120mA and a trip current of 240mA, the TRF250-120 provides precise protection for low-power and signal circuits. It supports 60V DC operating voltage, with a high 250V interrupt capability for brief surge events typical in telecom environments. Capable of withstanding up to 3A maximum fault current, it delivers stable and repeatable performance.
The fuse features a fast 2.5-second trip time at 1A, low initial resistance, and robust construction rated for –40°C to +85°C ambient operation. UL, CSA, and TÜV approvals ensure safety and reliability for use in telecommunication lines, modems, security systems, and other sensitive electronics.
