MD8002A Audio Amplifier IC | SOIC-8 Low-Distortion Mono Audio Amp

The MD8002A is a highly efficient mono audio power amplifier IC in an SOIC-8 package, designed for compact audio applications including portable speakers, headphones, smart devices and embedded sound systems. It features AB/D class switching, minimal external components, no FM interference, and support for low-voltage operation (2.0 V–5.5 V) with up to 5 W output into 2 Ω (THD < 10%).

Built to simplify audio amplifier designs, the MD8002A requires no output coupling capacitors, bootstrap capacitors or buffer networks—ideal for small PCBs.
