The MP2315GJ-Z from Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) is a compact, high-efficiency 3A synchronous buck regulator designed for wide input voltage applications up to 24V. With an integrated pair of low-Rds(on) MOSFETs (90mΩ high-side / 40mΩ low-side), this regulator delivers excellent power efficiency and reduced heat generation, making it ideal for space-constrained and high-performance power designs.

Operating at a fixed 500kHz switching frequency (synchronizable from 200kHz to 2MHz), the MP2315 enables small external components and fast transient response. Its current-mode control architecture simplifies compensation and ensures stable operation across varying loads. The device provides robust protections, including over-current protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown.
