The W78E516DDG from Nuvoton is a high-performance 8-bit microcontroller based on the enhanced 8052 core, offering improved speed, flexibility, and memory capacity for modern embedded applications. With 64 KB of in-system programmable Flash and 512 bytes of on-chip RAM, this MCU provides robust program storage and reliable data handling for a wide range of designs.
Operating at speeds up to 40 MHz in 12T mode (with an efficient 6T mode also available), the W78E516DDG delivers fast instruction execution while retaining full compatibility with the standard 8051/8052 instruction set. Its wide 2.4V to 5.5V operating voltage range makes it suitable for both battery-powered and 5V logic systems.
