The MPU-6050 is a compact and reliable 6-axis motion tracking device that combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer on a single chip. Designed for performance-critical applications such as drones, robotics, gesture detection, and wearable devices, the MPU-6050 delivers precise and real-time motion tracking over the I2C (IIC) interface, making it fully compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers.
This module includes a Digital Motion Processor (DMP), offloading complex calculations from your main processor for better accuracy and reduced latency. The onboard GY-521 breakout board allows for simple breadboard integration, and its auxiliary I2C pins allow expansion with external sensors (e.g., magnetometers) for 9-axis fusion.
