The LM2596HVGR-5.0 is a high-efficiency fixed-output DC-DC step-down (buck) switching regulator IC designed to deliver a stable 5V output with up to 3A current. It supports a wide input voltage range up to 60V, making it ideal for industrial, automotive, and high-voltage power applications.
Operating at a switching frequency of 150kHz, this regulator provides excellent line and load regulation with minimal external components. It features built-in thermal shutdown, current limiting, and high efficiency for reliable performance. The TO-263 (D2PAK) package ensures effective heat dissipation and easy surface-mount integration.
