The 34119-HLF is a versatile, low-power audio amplifier IC designed for telephone speakerphones, portable audio devices, and low-voltage audio applications. Operating from 2V to 16V, this amplifier delivers maximum differential output without requiring coupling capacitors, enabling efficient audio amplification even at very low supply voltages.
With an open-loop gain of 80 dB, the closed-loop gain can be easily set using two external resistors, making it highly flexible for custom audio designs. The IC includes an internal mute / power-down function for reducing power consumption and silencing the input when needed. Its low distortion, low quiescent current, and wide load impedance range make it suitable for a variety of audio circuits including high-impedance amplification, compressed audio, band-pass filters, and dual-rail audio systems.
