The SMBJ170CA TVS Diode is a high-performance bidirectional transient voltage suppressor designed to protect 170V-powered sensitive electronics from voltage spikes caused by inductive load switching, lightning surges, and ESD events. With a reverse stand-off voltage of 170V, a breakdown voltage up to 209V, and a clamping voltage of 275V, this diode ensures reliable and robust surge suppression in industrial, telecom, and high-voltage circuit environments.

Packaged in a low-profile SMB (DO-214AA) surface-mount case, the SMBJ170CA provides excellent clamping capability, fast response time (<1 ps), and enhanced durability with built-in strain relief. It also supports high-temperature soldering at 260°C for 10 seconds, making it suitable for automated and high-reliability PCB assembly.
