The MP24833-AGN-Z is a high-performance LED driver IC designed for buck, boost, and buck-boost applications. With a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 55V and up to 3A output current, it is ideal for driving high-power LEDs in automotive, industrial, and portable electronics.
This IC features current-mode control for fast transient response and stable operation. It supports both analog and PWM dimming through a single control pin, allowing flexible brightness control. The integrated 0.15Ω power MOSFET and fixed 210kHz switching frequency enable efficient power conversion with minimal external components.
Built-in protection features include thermal shutdown, cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection, open LED protection, and short-circuit protection, ensuring safe and reliable operation in demanding environments. The compact SOIC-8 EP package makes it suitable for space-efficient PCB designs.
