Return & Refund Policy
Circuitcomps is a brand operated by Hallmark PCB Services, based in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India. We want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase. This policy explains our return, refund, and cancellation terms in a clear and transparent way. It applies to orders delivered within India.
Returns — What We Accept
We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products, subject to the conditions below. You may choose a replacement or a refund (excluding original shipping charges and payment-gateway/convenience fees, where applicable).
- Return window: Return requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
- Condition: Products must be unused, unopened where applicable, and in their original packaging in resalable condition.
- A valid reason for the return and your order ID must be provided with every request.
How to Start a Return
Before sending anything back, email us at sales@circuitcomps.com with your order ID and reason for return to obtain a Return Authorization. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted. Once approved, please pack the item securely and use a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for return shipments lost in transit.
Return Shipping & Restocking
Unless the item is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrectly delivered, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We do not accept returns sent via To-Pay or Cash-on-Delivery. In most cases we do not charge a restocking fee. We reserve the right to apply a fee of up to 15% only in exceptional situations — for example, where an item needs significant repackaging or handling, or in cases of repeated or bad-faith returns. If any fee would apply, we will always inform you first and seek your agreement before processing the return.
Bulk Orders
For products purchased in bulk, please inspect 1–2 pieces first. If you find a manufacturing defect, report it within the return window. If the entire bulk quantity has already been opened or used, those items will not be eligible for return or replacement.
Non-Returnable Items
Products clearly marked as Non-Returnable or Non-Cancellable (NCNR) at the time of purchase, and special or made-to-order products, are not eligible for return.
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
We provide free replacement support for items that are defective, damaged during transit, or incorrectly delivered.
- Transit damage: must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. If a package arrives visibly damaged or tampered with, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately.
- Defective or wrong items: must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
- Sensitive electronic components: please report issues as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours.
Share clear photos (and videos, if requested) of the product along with the internal and external packaging so our team can verify the issue. Once verified, we arrange a replacement at no additional cost, with return shipping prepaid by us. If the product is out of stock or discontinued, we may offer a suitable alternative or issue a full refund.
Warranty Exclusions
Returns and replacements do not cover damage caused by misuse, static discharge, neglect, accident, normal wear and tear, or any product that has been soldered, modified, or altered in any way.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we verify it within 3 working days. Approved refunds are processed within 5 working days to your original payment method. The time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
Cancellations & Modifications
Before the order is shipped
You may cancel an order before it has been shipped, and we're glad to help. Please note that payment providers charge us a processing commission that they keep even when an order is cancelled and refunded. To recover only this actual cost, a charge of up to 5% may be deducted from your refund — we never add anything on top of it. Refunds are generally initiated within 2 business days; the time to credit your original payment method varies by gateway, typically 1–14 days.
After the order is shipped
Once an order has left our premises, it cannot be cancelled. If you no longer want it, please do not accept the parcel and ask the courier to return it unopened to the sender. After the parcel reaches us, we will initiate the refund (after deducting the 5% charge and the forward and return shipping costs). If the parcel was opened, the items will be verified first, and the refund initiated after verification.
Made-to-order products
For special or made-to-order products, cancellation requested after production or order preparation has begun may incur a deduction to cover non-recoverable material and processing costs.
Modifications
Order modifications, such as quantity changes or additions, must be requested before shipment. Once shipped, no changes can be made.
Cancellation by Circuitcomps
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order due to pricing errors, technical issues, stock unavailability, payment verification failure, or issues flagged during fraud checks. In such cases, a full (100%) refund is issued and the customer is notified promptly.
Jurisdiction
All disputes arising from these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India.
