The HX710B IC is a high-precision 24-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) designed by Avia Semiconductor for weigh scales, industrial measurement, and bridge sensor applications. It offers excellent noise performance with a built-in low-noise PGA (gain = 128), enabling accurate measurement of small differential signals up to ±20mV full-scale.
Unlike the HX710A variant, the HX710B includes DVDD and AVDD voltage difference detection, enhancing diagnostic and system monitoring capabilities. With its simple pin-driven interface, internal oscillator, and power-on-reset circuitry, the HX710B requires no internal register programming—making integration fast and straightforward.
Supporting output data rates of 10 SPS or 40 SPS, the ADC ensures reliable sampling while rejecting 50Hz/60Hzsupply noise. Low operating power (<1.2mA) and ultra-low standby current (<1µA) make it ideal for battery-powered and portable measurement systems.
