The IL2576-ADJ2T from IKSemi is a high-efficiency 3A adjustable step-down switching regulator designed as a reliable alternate to the LM2596-ADJ. With a wide input voltage range and adjustable output from 1.23V to 37V, it is suited for a variety of power supply and battery-powered applications.

Operating at a fixed 52 kHz internal switching frequency, the IL2576-ADJ2T requires only four external components, enabling compact and cost-effective power system designs. Its efficient step-down conversion minimizes heat generation, often removing the need for a heatsink.

The device includes built-in thermal shutdown, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and low standby current to ensure safe and reliable operation. Compatible with standard inductors and available in the TO263-5 package, it is ideal for regulated power supplies, linear regulator pre-regulation, battery chargers, and general DC-DC step-down applications.
