The MQ2 Smoke and Gas Sensor Module is a versatile gas detection module designed to detect combustible gases and smoke in residential, industrial, and educational applications. Operating from a 5V supply, it can detect gases such as LPG, propane, methane, hydrogen, alcohol vapor, carbon monoxide (CO), and smoke, making it suitable for gas leakage monitoring and air quality applications.
The module provides both analog and digital outputs, allowing it to be used for simple gas detection or continuous gas concentration monitoring. The onboard potentiometer enables users to adjust the digital output sensitivity, while the analog output provides varying voltage levels corresponding to gas concentration. Compatible with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, STM32, and other popular microcontrollers.
