The MCP4922-E/SL from Microchip Technology is a dual-channel 12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) designed for precision voltage output applications. It features a buffered voltage output and high-speed SPI interface, enabling accurate digital-to-analog conversion in embedded and signal processing systems.
Operating with a supply voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V, this DAC provides fast settling time of approximately 4.5µs and supports Microwire and SPI serial communication. Its resistor-string architecture ensures reliable performance with low differential nonlinearity (±0.25 LSB) and integral nonlinearity (±4 LSB).
Housed in a compact SOIC-14 surface-mount package, the MCP4922-E/SL is ideal for applications such as waveform generation, motor control, instrumentation, industrial automation, and embedded analog control systems.
